MS Dhoni is one of the best role models for the young cricketers in Indian cricket. His career for the Indian team has been filled with glories and accolades like the World T20 win in 2007, the ICC World Cup win in 2011 and the ICC Champions Trophy triumph in 2013.

His IPL career has been also full of wins, three of them actually, as CSK has won the IPL title thrice in 2010,2011 and 2018. However, along with the glory, Dhoni has also seen adversities during his time with the Chennai based franchise.

The most testing time came in IPL 2013 when officials from Chennai Super Kings and players from Rajasthan Royals were found involved in spot-fixing and match-fixing. After a long investigation, the BCCI and IPL governing council decided on banning the two franchises for a period of two years.

Star TV’s internet streaming subsidiary HotStar is coming up with a documentary on the most successful captain in Indian cricket MS Dhoni, named “Roar of the Lion”. The latest trailer of the documentary released by HotStar can be considered an explosive one.

In the trailer, Dhoni speaks about the match-fixing saga in IPL and terms it a bigger crime than murdering someone. He says that the time was turbulent for everyone involved since the franchise was found to be guilty. There are shots of Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja with a voice-over saying that even their names were discussed during the investigation.

Later in the trailer, Dhoni also discussed playing for another franchise for two years and then redeeming themselves in 2018 as the Chennai Super Kings became IPL champions for the third time, tying with Mumbai Indians for the record of most title wins.
