Ahead of the International Women's Day, Indian cricket team's skipper Virat Kohli shared a special message for all the ladies.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the 30-year-old posted a video in which he said Women’s Day should be celebrated every day and not just on March 8.

“This day or the 364 others, a Woman's day is everyday. Nothing but respect and a Happy Women's Day to all. Every day. #HappyWomensDay #WomenPower  #WomensDay2019,” the Indian captain wrote in the caption of the video.

Kohli is currently featuring in the five-match ODI series against Australia. He notched up his 40th ODI ton in the second match at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur on Tuesday (March 5).

Virat is the second batsman after legendary Sachin Tendulkar to amass 40 centuries in the 50-over format. He needs 10 more tons to overtake Tendulkar’s tally of 49 ODI centuries.
