Former South Africa cricketer Jonty Rhodes has always been a huge admirer of Suresh Raina's fielding. Considered as one of the best fielders to ever play cricket, Jonty openly rates Raina as the best fielder of all in the current era.

Recently, in a chat with ICC, Rhodes picked up five of the best fielders he ever saw on the field. Jonty included big names like Andrew Symonds, Herschelle Gibbs, Paul Collingwood, and AB de Villiers in the list. But it was Raina who topped the list with ease.

Raina on top was very much expected considering his admiration or the Indian southpaw. Even on Twitter, during the IPL Jonty had once awe-struck by the Uttar Pradesh cricketer's catch. 

When he was asked who is his favorite Indian fielder once, Rhodes had named Virat Kohli, but Raina was on the top there as well. "Yuvraj Singh and Mohammed Kaif were some of the better fielders around. Virat Kohli, he is ok. But Suresh Raina for me is the best fielder in India," he said.
