It's not something new when a filmstar shows interest in cricket. Indian Premier League (IPL) is called as a blend of cricket and Bollywood which has drawn both closer to each other. There is a cricket tournament as well where celebrities clash with each other on the 22 yards.
Well, this has become common now. Recently, actress Katrina Kaif took a bat in her hand on the set of her upcoming movie 'Bharat'. Earlier, her co-star Salman Khan was seen batting in a video he had shared with fans on Instagram.
Katrina, in her post, asked her friend Anushka Sharma to help with the batting technique. Of course, Anushka can get the help of her hubby and Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli.
She also promoted the upcoming movie of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, 'Gully Boy' with the hashtag. "Pack up ke baad #bharat sets as the World Cup nears @anushkasharma perhaps u could put in a small word for me with the captain of the team some room for improvement in my swing, but over all not a bad all rounder #apnatimeaayega," her post read.
The movie Bharat is set to release this Eid on June 5, 2019.
