The ongoing season of Big Bash League (BBL) has witnessed some spectacular catches thus far. However, during the clash between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades on Sunday (January 19), Windies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo took the fielding standard to a different level altogether.

After being put into bat, Renegades were cruising as openers Marcus Harris and Aaron Finch have put on 30 runs in rather quick time. And it took Bravo’s stunning one-handed catch for the Stars to pull things back.

During the penultimate delivery of the third over, Harris went for a big heave over mid-on and got a decent height on it as well. But Bravo timed his leap to perfection and completed the catch on the move with his right hand.

Coming to the match, Harris’ dismissal on 15 also triggered a collapse as Renegades were bundled out for a paltry 121 in 19.3 overs. Riding on Marcus Stonis’ unbeaten 70, Melbourne Stars completed the chase six wickets in hand and four balls to spare.
