WATCH- Shahid Afridi shocked after being dismissed hit wicket

Except the keeper and slip fielder, no one had idea of the hit wicket, not even the batsman.

Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi had to walk back after he got dismissed in a strange manner. Playing for Comilla Victorians in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2019, Afridi was out hit wicket in the 14th over of the match against Chittagong Vikings.

It was Vikings' bowler, Khaled Ahmed's bouncer which Afridi tried to pull without being aware of his position in the crease. He was so deep in the crease, his shoe ended up hitting the stumps.

Unfortunately, Afridi was on just 2 runs and he had to get back to the dressing room facing just 4 balls.

For Comilla, Thisara Perera came in rescue and played an absolutely freakish inning. He scored 74* off just 26 runs. However, his innings was overshadowed by Mushfiqur Rahim, Vikings captain. He scored 75 off 41 and took his team to a win.

Chittagong chased down the target of 185 in last over and won the game by 4 wickets.
