Australia captain and wicket-keeper Tim Paine have been engaging in banter with many Indian players in these three Test matches. Paine first had a verbal battle with Indian captain Virat Kohli, then he targetted him exchanging few words with Indian opener Murali Vijay in the second Test. But this time it was India's Hitman, Rohit Sharma who came in his radar.

During a Nathan Lyon over, Paine tried to break Sharma's concentration by prompting him to go for a six. Rohit has lost his wicket to Lyon in the first Test trying to smash a six. But he didn't repeat the same mistake in the third Test.

Referring to the banter, Mumbai Indians came up with a tweet asking Paine to keep mum as Rohit was batting smoothly. They wanted Sharma to score a century however it didn't happen.

"All of us to Tim Paine right now: ???? #CricketMeriJaan #AUSvIND," MI wrote.

Here is what actually happened:

Rohit, the Mumbai Indians captain was batting with Ajinkya Rahane, who plays for Rajasthan Royals, on the other end. Paine, trying his best to disturb Sharma, said, “It’s been a toss up for me between Royals and Indians, and if Rohit hits a six here, I am changing to Mumbai."

He later said, “Too many Poms at the Royals,” referring to Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler.

Sharma did well to remain unbeaten on the second day of the third Test. He scored 63* before Virat declared the Indian innings on 443/7.
