BBL 2018-19: WATCH- Glenn Maxwell plays a switch hit; umpire replaces the ball

Melbourne Stars batsman Glenn Maxwell played a freakish inning against Hobart Hurricanes. He scored 47 runs which included 5 sixes. Those five sixes were very entertaining. One of the sixes stood out among all. 

The 'Big Show' played a switch hit and sent the ball out of the ground. Umpires Shawn Craig and Sam Nogajski had to call for the box of replacement balls after the six.

Targetting the same area, Maxwell, hit one over the cover but this time didn't change his batting stance. The Aussie T20 star is famous for his unorthodox shots in the shorter format. His knock helped Melbourne score 5-155 off 20 overs.

But his innings didn't ensure a victory for Stars. They lost the game by 6 wickets after opposition captain Matthew Wade smashed a half-century.
