Sachin Tendulkar spread love and happiness amongst children dressed as Santa Claus

Sachin Tendulkar, one of the kindest cricketer ever to play the game (bowlers may not agree), turned into a Santa Claus on the occasion of Christmas to surprise the kids at Ashray Child Care Centre.

Sachin walked in with lots of gifts for the kids. The gifts had sports equipment like badminton, bat, football etc among the kids. He also played cricket with the kids to make their day special.

He shared a video of himself and wrote, “Ho..Ho..Ho... Merry Christmas to all of you! Just amazing to be with these young ones at Ashray Child Care Centre. The joy on their innocent faces was just priceless! #BecomingSanta #MerryChristmas.”

Kids were overjoyed seeing the Indian cricket icon making his way into the room. Here is the video:

Recently, Sachin had launched a talent hunt camp in association with Middlesex Cricket. It was named 'Tendulkar Middlesex Global Academy. Its first cricket camp started at Merchant Taylor’s School in Northwood from 6-9 August 2018 followed by further camps planned in Mumbai and London.

Commenting on the launch, Tendulkar had said, “I am delighted to be partnering with Middlesex Cricket on this new venture. The objective is not only to produce good cricketers but also good global citizens of the future. Through this association, Middlesex and I are focused on providing the very best in cricket education, as much as possible, for our students."
