Former Australian cricketer current a commentator, Kerry O'Keeffe made a racial and unprofessional comment on Indian domestic cricket.

Indian opener Mayank Agarwal, who made his debut against Australia in the third Test, scored 76 on his debut. He was looking good and then it took no time for him to gather praise with his batting display.

But the commentators, Shane Warne, Mark Howard and O'Keeffe's discussion about his triple century in Ranji Trophy left Indian fans angry.

O'Keeffe said Mayank has scored his triple hundred against 'some canteen staff or waiters,'. It was a jibe at the Indian domestic bowlers.

Later on, former Australian cricketer Mark Waugh also said that "his average in India is 50 which is like 40 in Australia."

Melinda Farrell, a cricket journalist called it uncool to scorn first-class cricket of a country. "It’s pretty uncool to ridicule the FC comp of another country while using dubious stereotypes for a cheap laugh.."

Mayank had a great outing in the Ranji Trophy and was a dream run for any batsman. His outstanding batting made him first choice for replacement of Indian injured opener Prithvi Shaw.

Here is how Indian fans reacted to the mockery by O'Keeffe:
