His batting ability and magical finishing powers might have faded away, but the charm of the two time World Cup and three time IPL winning captain remains the same.

Recently, the official Twitter account of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) shared a picture in which a crazy fan has paid tribute to Dhoni in style.

He got a number plate for his car with Dhoni's name written on it. "Aaah, so the legendary Soppanasundhari is now in LA!", wrote CSK's twitter handle.

Talking about Chennai, Dhoni is treated like a God in the south of India. He has always been a major attraction for the fans there and his visits even in off seasons in Chennai are proof of it. The way fans show excitement to get a glimpse of their 'thala' shows their admiration for him.

CSK returned after a 2-year suspension in this season. Dhoni gifted the fans an IPL win and showed even though they were out for a long time, the impact of men in yellow remained the same.

In recently concluded IPL auction, Chennai bought Mohit Sharma and Ruturaj Gaikwad for Rs 5 crore and 20 lakh, respectively.
