India’s T20I skipper Harmanpreet Kaur on Saturday (December 15) put on a show to help Sydney Thunder register a comprehensive six-wicket victory over Adelaide Strikers at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.

Harmanpreet played a sensational knock of 33 runs in just 22 balls while chasing Strikers’ 133. Her innings was laced with 2 fours and 3 huge sixes. Although Kaur couldn’t finish off the job, she had done enough to out the Thunder’s in a commanding position. After her dismissal in the 14th over, opener Rachael Priest (58*) and Nicola Carey (11*) took Thunder to the target with 15 balls to spare.

Apart from her stellar show with the willow, Harmanpreet was also magnificent on the field. Earlier in the day, she pulled off a stunning catch to dismiss Tahlia McGrath just on the edge of the inner circle.

Harmanpreet Kaur has had a good outing in the ongoing WBBL thus far, scoring 45 and 56 in the last two matches besides taking a wicket.
