Beuran Hendricks might have bowled a decent spell for Jozi Stars in Mzansi Super League against Tshwane Spartans, but what left Twitterati amused was his hairstyle.
We have often seen cricketers with different hairstyles, especially during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). But this was something unique which managed to grab a lot of attention.
The game already created a lot of buzz after a magnificent hitting by the Jozi batsmen Rassie van der Dussen (44-ball 96*) and Daniel Christian (19-ball 52*).
But when they came out to defend a huge target of 240, it was Hendricks who was all over Twitter. Some joked about it, while rest drew a comparison with different things.
Jozi Stars registered an easy victory over Tshwane Spartans by 101 runs. They are now in playoffs. Despite some crazy hitting by the Jozi batters, the man of the match award went to Nono Pongolo for his outstanding bowling figure of 6/20.
