AUS v IND 2018-19: KL Rahul thrashed by Twitterati after he fails to score once again

KL Rahul has not got much runs in Test this year to secure his place in the team.

Indian opener KL Rahul's failures has irked the cricket fans. Except for a half-century against Afghanistan and a 149-run innings against England, Rahul has been in a disastrous form with the bat. But despite an ill-fated year, he is getting chances again and again while there are some players who are axed from the side without getting tested. 

The Karnataka batsman averages 23.44 with the bat this year. In 19 innings, he could only add 422 runs which are way too low for a top order batsman.

Fans lost their cool when Rahul once again failed to step up with the bat and added just 2 runs in the first innings of opening Test between India and Australia. 

His eight-ball long innings ended after he chased a wide ball which found his outside edge and Aaron Finch at third slip did the rest of the job. 

A top-order failure in the first Test disturbed the fans and all the anger was taken out on Rahul.
