Sanjay Manjrekar faces backlash after slamming West Indies for loss against Bangladesh

Manjrekar has a bitter relationship with the Twitterati.

Sanjay Manjrekar is having a bad time on Twitter. Well, that is as obvious as the sky is blue. His shots at players or a team get slammed by the fans.

Recently, when England crushed Sri Lanka in a three-match Test series at their home Manjrekar targetted Ben Stokes and accused him of stealing credit without doing much. But unlike other cricketers, Stokes responded to him which created a lot of buzz on social media.

This time Manjrekar took a dig at West Indies who lost to Bangladesh in the second Test by an innings and lost the series 0-2. Commenting on the loss, he said, "If you don't play spin well, don't bother going to Bangladesh".

Fans were ready to hop in and slam Manjrekar. Their support on a topic usually depends on the cricketer-turned-commentator. If Manjrekar is slamming a team, they would start supporting them to counter him.
