Joe Root-led England Test Team became the first English side to complete a clean sweep in Asia after thrashing Sri Lanka by 42 runs in the third and final Test on Monday (November 26) at Colombo.

England has enjoyed a two-month long Sri Lanka tour by defeating the hosts in all formats of the series here, having won one-off T20 International, 3-1 in One Day Internationals and in Tests 3-0.

To celebrate the historic moment at English dressing room in Colombo, Captain Root turned out to be a guitarist and entertained his teammates and staff members with his classic skills with the guitar.

Following the victory, England Cricket Team has shared a video on their official Twitter handle, where Root can be seen playing the guitar while Stuart Broad, Ben Stokes, Adil Rashid and the managerial staff danced and sang to celebrate the memorable occasion.

The caption reads, “This is what it means to become the first England team to complete a clean sweep in Asia... ????????????????????????????????????”

Meanwhile, Root credited England’s "complete team-effort" for their historic series win in Sri Lanka, saying: “That's been a big secret in our success -- being able to bring different guys in, and pick a team that is going to take 20 wickets and score enough runs to put teams under pressure.”

He signed off by saying, “The experienced players have taken the extra responsibility. It's been exceptional. It's been a complete team effort; it's been a great tour.”
