Women's World T20: Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul show support for Indian women's team

Indian women's team qualified for the semifinals of Women's World T20 2018.

Indian women's team are through to the semi-finals of the Women's World T20 2018. They defeated Ireland women's team on Thursday by 52 runs to seal a place in the top two of their group. India is yet to face Australia and the winner among them will top the group.

This is the first time India has qualified for the Women's World T20 semi-final since 2010. 

To support the women team, Indian men cricketers have come out in support. Along with them, Tennis star Sania Mirza and Badminton player Saina Nehwal have also posted a tweet.

Supporting the Indian women's team, Indian men's team captain Virat Kohli wrote, "We’re on our way to the semi-finals.. and it’s time to back Team India to bring home the World Cup! #JerseyKnowsNoGender."

Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul also shared their picture. "Virat bhai, I’m taking the chain forward by nominating @imharmanpreet, @phogat_vinesh . #JerseyKnowsNoGender???? Come on, everyone! Let’s support Team India. Wear your jerseys, or the colour blue, do the pose and cheer our girls on! @Uber_India @ICC #WT20 @ImVkohli," wrote Pant.

Rahul's tweet read, "With the way the girls are playing, I think the Cup is coming home! #JerseyKnowsNoGender ???? So let's cheer them onto the finals.
