Mumbai is into the final of Vijay Hazare Trophy after beating Hyderabad by 60 runs via VJD method in the semifinals. The game saw an interesting battle between India's future stars Prithvi Shaw and Mohammed Siraj.
Siraj, who has an idea that Shaw struggles against the short balls after watching him in the Test series against West Indies, made sure the 18-year-old gets teased a bit and couldn't score easily. To fan the fire, he followed his deliveries with an exchange of words.
The second delivery of ninth over in Mumbai's innings might have convinced Siraj that he won the contest. Shaw had a loose grip on his bat and it was tossed up in the air after a contact with the ball. The teenager also had a shoulder problem.
The next ball was a slower delivery which Shaw completely misread and his attempt to pull failed. Siraj, at that time, was charged up. But things took a dramatic turn and next three short deliveries of Siraj went for 6, 6 and 4.
