We heard cricketers wear their lucky shocks or carry a lucky handkerchief to bring some luck to them. But what we saw during the toss between South Africa and Zimbabwe for the first T20I was very rare. Faf du Plessis, the Proteas skipper asked his teammate JP Duminy to spin the coin for him.

He believed it will give him more chances to win the toss and Bingo! It did win him the toss.

Duminy walked in with Faf during the toss and was asked to flip the coin. Zimbabwe skipper Hamilton Masakadza called for head and it was a tail. The trick did work for South Africa.

After winning the toss, Du Plessis jokingly said, "Important for a captain to know his weaknesses and that's why I brought JP Duminy as specialist coin tosser."

Faf also shared the video of the moment on his Instagram account and wrote, "I Love what I do, important to have some fun along the way as well, especially in t20 cricket !! Might have started something here... @jpduminy the specialist coin tosser..????????."

Zimbabwe lost the first T20I after being bowled out on just 126; 34 runs lesser than South Africa's score. It was Imran Tahir who bamboozled the Zimbabwean batting line-up with his fifer. He was also picked up as the Man of the Match.
