Rishabh Pant turned 21 on October 4, the opening day of India vs West Indies first Test. Luckily, Pant got to bat on his birthday after Ajinkya Rahane couldn't survive last few overs of the day. He came out to bat with five overs left and scored 17 unbeaten runs before stumps. His short innings had a couple of hook shots which fetched him a six and a four.
The Indian wicket-keeper batsman celebrated his birthday with his teammates after the end of the day. No surprise, he was turned into a walking cake as his mates did everything to make a layer of cake on his body.
Pant posted the video on his Instagram account and wrote, "This is how you cut your cake with your teammates. Don't worry guys whoever is next will get the better treatment then this but thanks a lot guys for making it special and thank you, everyone, for wishing."
The official account of BCCI also shared the pictures from the celebration.
