The ever-smiling Caribbean cricketer turned 39 on Friday. Gayle, one of the most loved cricketers, received wishes from Indian cricket icons. Former India batting partners Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar wished the lanky West Indies cricketer on this special day.

"Happy Birthday @henrygayle . May you keep hitting them where the bat is pointing. A man with a big heart, wish you a great year ahead Gayle !," wrote Sehwag. The former India explosive batsman Sehwag has mentored Gayle in IPL. The birthday boy plays for Kings XI Punjab.
