Indian cricketers enjoy a god-like status in the country and other parts of the world. Be it MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli or any other cricketer you name, fans always want to catch a closer glimpse of their idols.
A similar thing happened on Saturday when a die-hard Virender Sehwag fan breached security to enter the ground and touched the feet of his idol. Sehwag, who retired from the international game in 2015, was playing a friendly game in the Karnataka Chalanachitra Cup (KCC) for Kadamba Lions.
While Sehwag was coming out to field, a fan broke a barrier and entered the field to touch his feet.
Here is the video of fan touching Sehwag’s feet:

Earlier Sehwag had shared a video of himself playing in the match and hitting a six in his old style. Fans breaching security to shake hands with their idols are nothing new. Last year, a fan jumped a 10-feet fencing, dodged the security cover in the North Stand fence of the Brabourne Stadium to touch the feet of Dhoni, when he was leading India A against England.
The same thing happened in IPL 2018 with Virat Kohli, as a fan came into the field of play at the Feroz Shah Kotla to touch Kohli’s feet during the match between RCB and DD.
