Former Indian attacking batsman Virender Sehwag might have hung up his boots but still continues to play his natural game i.e. 'No Nonsense Cricket'. In Sehwag's words, batting is all about entertainment and the Delhi cricketer never wants to take away the entertainment factor from the game.

Our very own Viru is part of Karnataka Chalan Chitra Cup (KCC). He played the first game and shared a video on his Twitter account. Without any surprise, he was seen thrashing the bowler out of the park.

Sharing the video, he wrote, “Usool tab bhi wahi tha, ab bhi wahi hai. Shubh kaam mein der kaisi. Entertainment Entertainment Entertainment. Was fun batting today.”

The game was held at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru for Kadamba Lions, which is being led by South-Indian actor Kichcha Sudeep.

The tournament features cricketers like Tillakaratne Dilshan, Herschelle Gibbs, Owais Shah, and Lance Klusener. It was inaugurated by the Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy.

There are total six teams in the 10-over cricket tournament: Rashatrakuta Panthers, Ganga Warriors, Wadeyar Charges, Hoysala Eagles, Vijayanagar Patriots, and Kadamba Lions.
