Indian cricket fraternity rejoices the Asian Games 2018 gold medal win of 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary

Abhishek Verma won the Bronze medal in the same event for India.

Saurabh Chaudhary (L) won Gold and Abhishek Verma (R) won Bronze in 10m Air Pistol eventThe whole nation of India was made proud on August 21, 2018, when 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary won the gold medal in 10m air pistol in the ongoing Asian Games 2018 at Jakarta-Palembang.

Chaudhary became only the fifth Indian shooter to claim gold in the Asian Games history. Chaudhary also set a Games record with his sensational effort.

Chaudhary, competing in his first senior event snatched the lead from 2010 World Champion Tomoyuki Matsuda on the penultimate shot in the 24-shot final.

Along with Chaudhary, Abhishek Verma shot 219.3 to secure bronze.

The Indian cricket fraternity was amazed by the maturity shown by 16-year-old Saurabh Chaudhary to win the gold medal and sent him wishes on Twitter.
