Twitter surprised as HRD Ministry tweets Virender Sehwag asking him how to become an umpire

The tweet was mistakenly tweeted from official handle and was deleted soon after.

Virender Sehwag | GETTYTwitterati was left bewildered when Human Resource Development's official Twitter account tweeted to former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag.

The HRD ministry's handle asked Sehwag to help with an umpiring course which was funny as it was very unusual. While many thought the account was hacked, it appears to be a human error. The user behind the account might have forgotten to switch account before tweeting his query.

However, Sehwag, who is a member of Delhi and District Cricket Association's cricket committee, didn't respond to the tweet. The tweet was soon deleted from the handle. But it was too late as everyone got their eyes on it.

DDCA had recently appointed Rajat Sharma as their new president. The three-member committee, which have former Test players Aakash Chopra and Rahul Sanghvi as its other two members, "will be authorised to form various Selection Committees as per the recommendations made by the Lodha Committee and the BCCI guidelines for the state association and to give valuable guidance to the Association for improvement of cricket in Delhi."

They also have India opener Gautam Gambhir as a "special invitee to the committee".
