Virat Kohli, one of the most active Indian cricketers on social media, wished everyone on Independence Day 2018 and called for a change. He asked everyone to get united and celebrate the things which bring them close.

He took Twitter to wish everyone on the occasion and wrote, "Today, let's celebrate the things that unite us all instead of dwelling on our differences. Howzzat for a change? #HappyIndependenceDay  #StayWrogn @StayWrogn"

Kohli is currently with the Indian team in England and facing harsh criticism after his team failed to meet the expectations. Not result, what affected the fans is no fight.

India will be hoping for a good show in the third Test at Nottingham, after being knocked down twice in the five-match series already.

The 29-year-old has asked fans to keep their support flowing and not to lose hope as there is still 3/5th of the series left. “Sometimes we win and other times we learn. You never give up on us and we promise to never give up on you either. Onwards and upwards," his post read on Facebook.
