The whole of India on August 15, 2018, celebrates the nation’s 72nd Independence Day.
India gained its Independence from the British on August 15, 1947, after more than 200 years of occupation. It is an occasion of joy and pride. It also reminds us that we are indebted to all those people who lost their lives to gain independence for us from the British.
Cricket fraternity was also involved in celebrating this joyous occasion everywhere in India. Many of the cricketers always speak their mind when it comes to India and its people and takes pride in being Indians. Let us all take a moment to say thanks to all those great people who lost lives for our independence and be grateful and celebrate the hard-fought independence.
