Jofra Archer made fun of Carlos Brathwaite's facial expression on his Insta story

Jofra Archer, who has become a fan favourite because of his all-round showing in T20 leagues around the world, is known for his off-field fun and activities. He wears his heart on his sleeve when competing on the field and enjoys his time to the fullest while being away from it.

On Sunday (August 12), Archer grabbed the headlines as he savagely trolled his fellow Barbadian Carlos Brathwaite through his Instagram story.

He posted a picture of exhausted Brathwaite and captioned it as: “When she’s asking for round 2 but you gave everything you had in round 1”.

Jofra’s witty dig at Brathwaite’s facial expression certainly left his fans and followers in splits.

Archer, who is originally from Barbados and has represented West Indies in U-19 cricket, will be eligible to play for England from 2022. Archer is currently serving his seven-year residency period in England.

Archer had grabbed the attention of the cricketing fraternity with his fast and accurate bowling in BBL 2017-18 for Hobart Hurricanes. He was roped in by Rajasthan Royals during the IPL auction in January 2018.

Archer had entered into the auction with a base price of INR 40 lakhs and the inaugural IPL champions secured him by spending a whopping amount of 7.20 crores. He was troubled by injury in the IPL.  Nonetheless, the 23-year-old showed glimpses of his talent on several occasions while bowling in the death overs.
