A surprising incident happened during the ongoing Caribbean Premier League 2018 which we rarely get to see.
In last few years, the bowlers have refrained to do something silly which can result in a ban or demerit points. But still the send-offs have been funny and entertaining within limits and that's what viewers love the most. However, sometimes, the bowlers have crossed the line and paid the penalty for it.
Fans were left rubbing their eyes in disbelief after what they saw during a game between Guyana Amazon Warriors and St Kitts Nevis and Patriots in the sixth edition of CPL.
The incident took place between Pakistani bowler Sohail Tanvir and Aussie batsman Ben Cutting. After Cutting's stumps were shattered by Tanvir, the latter gave a vulgar send-off to the former. Cutting had earlier hit Tanvir for a huge six.
Tanvir showed double middle-fingered gesture to the Australian batsman as he turned around after being dismissed. It was a very unhealthy send-off from the Pakistani pacer to the Aussie all-rounder.
The game was won by the Warriors after chasing down an easy target of 147 runs inside 20 overs. Even Chris Gayle's exploits didn't help Patriots to get a good total. Gayle scored 86 runs for his team.
From Warriors' side, it was Shimron Hetmyer who thrashed an unbeaten on 79 off just 45 balls to win it easily.
