WATCH: Mokit Hariharan shows his ambidextrous bowling skills in TNPL

Hariharan bowled left-arm spin to a left-handed batsman and right-arm spin to right-handers.

In the ongoing Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), cricket fans have witnessed some amazing young talents but the one player who has grabbed the utmost attention is Mokit Hariharan. The 18-year-old Mokit stunned the cricket fraternity on Sunday (July 22) with his ambidextrous abilities.

Playing for VB Kanchi Veerans against Dindigul Dragons, Hariharan bowled with both hands. He was seen bowling left-arm spin to a left-handed batsman and right-arm spin to right-handers.

Although Hariharan didn’t manage to fetch a wicket with his unique bowling talent, he certainly impressed everyone with his swashbuckling batting. The teenager scored an unbeaten 77 runs off 50 balls when VB Kanchi Veerans were reeling at 7 for 2. His dazzling knock was laced with five boundaries and as many sixes.

Besides Mokit Hariharan, P Francis Rokins also scored 64 runs off 41 balls as VB Kanchi Veerans posted 166/4 in their stipulated 20 overs.

Riding on Hari Nishanth’s 33-ball 50 and NS Chaturved’s 17-ball 41*, Dindigul Dragons chased down the target with 7 wickets in hand and 5 balls to spare.
