Pakistan speedster Hasan Ali’s signature wicket-taking celebration during the second ODI against Zimbabwe has not gone down well.

After castling the Zimbabwe wicketkeeper batsman Ryan Murray on Monday (July 16), Hasan flaunted his trademark ‘generator starting’ celebration. However, in the process, he pulls a muscle of his neck.

Such was the situation that instead of celebrating the wicket, Pakistan players gathered around Hasan Ali as he looked in serious discomfort while holding his neck. In fact, some of the Pakistani cricketers including their skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed couldn’t control their laughter after witnessing that funny yet fateful moment.

Here’s the video:

Hasan Ali has become the darling of Pakistan cricket fans after his heroics in the last year’s ICC Champions Trophy. It was during that tournament he pulled off the generator celebration for the first time. Ali had taken the most wickets (13) in the 2017 Champions Trophy and was deservedly adjudged Player of the Series.

Coming to match, Pakistan rode on Usman Khan’s 4 for 36 and Hasan Ali’s 3 for 32 to restrict Zimbabwe to 194-all out in 49.2 overs. The Men in Green are currently leading the five-match ODI match ODI series 1-0.
