Former England captain Michael Vaughan has posted a cheeky comment on Adam Gilchrist’s latest Instagram video through which the Aussie legend tried to troll him.

On Saturday (July 14), Gilchrist shared a video of Vaughan getting castled by New Zealand speedster Shane Bond for naught. The clip was from 2007 ODI triangular series played among Australia, England and New Zealand.

“Played Skipper! ???? @michaelvaughan,” Gilly wrote in the caption of the video.

Known for his witty replies and top-notch humour, Vaughan retorted with a comment reading: “Someone must have used some sandpaper on that ball to get it swinging so much !!!! Morning Ears”.

Vaughan may be an outspoken individual but he shares a very good rapport with his contemporary Aussie cricketers. Both Vaughan and Gilchrist are known to voice their opinions on social media. Moreover, they often share their throwback pictures and videos to recall their glory days.

Vaughan and Gilchrist are currently associated with cricket as a commentator. While Vaughan is a regular member of BBC's commentary panel, Gilchrist is covering the Big Bash League for some years now.
