After cricket fraternity was over with MS Dhoni's birthday celebration, it was time to celebrate another birthday of one of the greats of Indian cricket, former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly.

Ganguly turned 46 on Sunday and former India cricketer Virender Sehwag, who has emerged under his captaincy, wished the 'Prince of Kolkata' in style.

Trying to cover everything from Ganguly's 16-year-long career, Sehwag shared a tweet with four major moments of the former India cricketer.

He wrote, “Step 1-Wake up, blink your eyes twice & dance down the track. Step 2-Smash the bowler & at times even spectators(no violence intended). Step 3-Swing not only the ball but also ur hair, bowl ur heart out. Step 4-Celebrate like no one’s watching. To a wonderful man, #HappyBirthdayDada.”

Famously known as the 'God of the off side', Prince of Kolkata Ganguly scored 16 centuries in Test matches and 22 in ODIs. He is also one the batsmen to score more than 10,000 runs in ODIs.

Ganguly is credited to build the Indian cricket team. "[We] were able to change the face of Indian cricket. That's what I'm proud of, because I think we made a huge difference. People used to think that we would simply roll over when playing out of India, but we changed the image." he said.

When asked the team wouldn't take any crap from any opposition, he replied, "Absolutely, and that came from self-belief that, that we had the ability to do well outside India."
