The senior most Indian cricketer in the team MS Dhoni received wishes from his teammates as he turned 37 on Saturday. The former India skipper who played his 500th international match on Friday scored 32* off 24 balls in the memorable game.
Despite his efforts, India failed to win the game to make the birthday celebration more cheerful. The defeat didn't affect Dhoni's birthday celebrations and he cut the cake with his family and teammates.
A video was shared by BCCI on their official account where skipper Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina, Dinesh Karthik, Shikar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma wished the former India captain on the special occasion.
However, the best and cutest wish came from Dhoni's daughter Ziva. While sharing the video, BCCI had already tweeted about the cuteness alert at the end of the video. She funnily poked fun at the wicket-keeper batsman that he is getting older.
Dhoni played 90 Tests for India since making his debut against Sri Lanka in 2005. He scored 4867 runs at an average of 38.09. The Jharkhand cricketer took 256 catches and was involved in 38 stumpings in Test.
The 37-year-old is the only captain in the history of cricket who has won all the three ICC trophies. He stepped down as limited-overs captain in January 2017.
