Imran Tahir is not only a quality spinner but also a soulful singer as well. The Lahore born Tahir, who is representing South Africa in international cricket, recently gave the glimpse of his musical talent by singing a Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan classic ‘Sajna Tere Bina’.

Tahir recently appeared in Harbhajan Singh’s chat show ‘Quick Heal Bhajji Blast’, where he surprised the cricket fans by singing the famous qawwali.

On Harbhajan’s request, Imran Tahir sang the first few lines of ‘Sanu ek pal chain na aave, Sajna Tere Bina’ during the candid talk.

It is worth mentioning here that Tahir and Harbhajan share a very good rapport. The duo played for Chennai Super Kings in the recently held Indian Premier League. Tahir, who immigrated to South Africa to pursue his cricket dream, has represented Pakistan at Under-19 level.

As far as Tahir’s cricket credentials are concerned – he has played 20 Tests for South Africa, scalping 57 wickets with two five-wicket hauls. Imran has also proved his mettle in limited-overs cricket, claiming 139 wickets in 85 ODIs and 57 scalps in 36 T20Is.
