Harbhajan Singh receives birthday wishes from Indian cricketers on Twitter

Harbhajan has picked up over 700 international wickets for India.

The first Indian bowler to pick up a hat-trick in Test cricket, Harbhajan Singh, celebrated his 38th birthday on Tuesday (July 3). Wishes poured in from everywhere for the off-spinner from Punjab on Twitter.

From Indian skipper Virat Kohli to Sachin Tendulkar, everyone tweeted their message for the cricketer.

Mumbai Indians, Harbhajan's former IPL franchise, rated him the best off-spinner ever in their tweet. While Virat wrote, "Wishing the champion bowler and an amazing human being @harbhajan_singh a very happy birthday. Keep inspiring and Have a good one Bhajju Pa. ???? #Turbanator #TopGuy #Legend."

Harbhajan has played 103 Test matches for India in which he picked up 417 wickets. Batting lower down the order, he scored two consecutive Test hundreds against New Zealand in 2010. 

The Punjab cricketer has picked up 25 five-wicket hauls in Tests. His first five-for came against Australia in the famous Kolkata Test in 2001. Harbhajan had picked 7 wickets in first innings and 6 in the second. 

Former India cricketer, VVS Laxman who was also part of that iconic Test match tweeted his birthday wish for Harbhajan. "Many more happy returns of the day, @harbhajan_singh. May your life be filled with love, joy, and goodness. A very Happy Birthday, Bhajji !," he wrote.
