India is the world champions of Kabaddi and they have now clinched the Kabaddi Masters too.

Indian Kabaddi team made the country proud by winning Kabaddi Masters Dubai tournament. They defeated Iran in the final by 44-26. In the game dominated by India, Ajay Thakur got 9 Raid points.

Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag looked overjoyed by the victory. He was following the matches throughout the tournament and when India lifted the title, he tweeted, "Congratulations India on defeating Iran in the finals and becoming deserving champions of the #KabaddiMasters . Wonderful win and a joy to follow your performances. (sic)"

Earlier, India had crushed Pakistan twice in the tournament. They were too good for the neighbors. When India defeated Pakistan, Sehwag tweeted, "Another demolition . What a great performance by India to beat Pakistan once again.  Ek aur jeet dila Diya humka Thakur, Ajay Thakur. 41-17 this time after 36-20 a few days ago. Well done, Team India #IndvPak #KabaddiKurfew."
