India cricketer Gautam Gambhir on Tuesday (June 26) vented out his frustration on political leaders after a survey revealed India as the most dangerous country for women.

As per a report published in CNN, The Thomson Reuters Foundation recently released its outcome of a survey of 550 experts on women's issues, finding India to be the most dangerous nation for sexual violence against women, as well as human trafficking for domestic work, forced labor, forced marriage and sexual slavery, among other reasons.

Expressing his angst on this survey, Gambhir took to Twitter and wrote: “Day a political leader’s daughter, sister, wife or mother starts to venture out of their homes without any security cover, we will have a solution to this problem. SHAMEFUL. India most dangerous country for women, US ranks 10th in survey – CNN.”

Gambhir is fairly vocal on social media concerning the national issues. He is a patriotic individual who leaves no stone unturned to make a difference to the society. Last year, the southpaw had taken the lifetime academic responsibility of a slain Jammu and Kashmir police officer’s daughter, Zohra.

Gambhir's goodwill gesture for the society not only is constrained to his tweets. The Delhi lad supports various causes. The Community Kitchen initiative started by Gautam Gambhir Foundation (GGF) is one such example of his kind-hearted nature.
