England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler is currently playing in the beast mode. Going by his current form, there is a debate going on about the best wicket-keeper batsman of the current time. No doubt Buttler is rated highly considering is the outing in IPL and the performance against Australia in the last ODI to seal the series 5-0.
Buttler scored an unbeaten 110 off 122 balls with 12 fours and one six to guide England almost single-handedly from 114/8 to 208/9, winning with nine balls to spare.
After the win, Australian skipper Tim Paine rated Buttler above Indian wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni. “He’s good; he’s very good,” Paine was quoted as saying by ESPN. “Right now, at the moment, he’d have to be the best white-ball wicketkeeper-batsman in the world. I don’t think there are too many guys to challenge him. MS Dhoni is pretty good, but right at this moment, Jos is at the absolute peak of his powers,” Paine added.
The statement didn't go well with the Indian fans on Twitter. They came out in support of Dhoni and took a swing at Paine.
Here are the tweets:

Tim Paine : MS Dhoni is pretty good, but right at this moment, Jos is at the absolute peak of his powers.@josbuttler: It’s right up there with my best performances. I was calm, I was imagining what MS Dhoni would do #Dhoni - Wicket Keeper - Batsman of the era.

Comparisons btwn #Dhoni and #Buttler r amusing. Dhoni is towards end of his glorious career & Buttler is yet to reach his prime. Don't even understand the point of comparing the two & claim one is better than other! ????

Last nail in the coffin.. Brutal!
Best keeper batsman in ODIs is debatable. Worst keeper batsman in ODIs should be simple. https://t.co/4YTdc7FcUL
