India opener Shikhar Dhawan has posted an amusing comment on Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh's latest throwback picture on social media site Instagram.

On Monday (June 26), Ranveer shared his childhood image on Insta with a caption reading: “Avant Garde Since 1985”.

The Bollywood actor can be seen sporting a Mohawk haircut in the picture which led to a flood of comments from his friends, fans and followers. Amidst thousands of comments, Dhawan's cheeky response grabbed everyone’s attention.

"Bro shakal se hi dikh raha bachpan mein poori shaitaaniyaan karo hongi," Dhawan wrote in the comment.

Known for his witty replies and top-notch humour, Ranveer retorted by writing: "Sahi pakde hai bhaisahab, punteron ki fauj ka sardar, hahahhaha".

Shikhar Dhawan had a wonderful IPL 2018 campaign for the runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad. The left-hander finished the season with 497 runs from 16 innings and was the second highest run-getter for his side after skipper Kane Williamson (735 runs in 17 innings).

Dhawan is currently with the Indian cricket team in England. In their UK trip, India will play two T20Is against Ireland in Dublin on June 27 and 29. Subsequently, India’s tour of England will commence from July 3 where they will play three T20Is and as many ODIs before featuring in a five-match Test series from August 1.
