Sachin Tendulkar makes a huge mistake while wishing Indian hockey for the win over Argentina

India hockey team defeated Argentina by 2-1 in the Champions Trophy in Netherlands.

Indian hockey team defeated Argentina 2-1 in the ongoing Champions Trophy in Netherlands

Sachin Tendulkar, while wishing the Indian hockey team for their commendable performance against Argentina, made a goof-up which is now the talk on Twitter.

Beating Olympic champions was an achievement for the Indian team. Sachin congratulated the team and also gave a special mention to Sardar Singh, who celebrated his 300th game for India.

However, Sachin still got roasted for a major blunder as he attached a picture of Mandeep Singh while lauding Sardar. "Fantastic weekend for the @TheHockeyIndia team beating Argentina after a stellar win yesterday. Special mention to @imsardarsingh8 on playing his 300th game for India! #ChampionsTrophy. #INDvARG," he wrote on Twitter. Sachin had deleted the tweet earlier but committed the same mistake twice.

Earlier in the tournament, India had defeated Pakistan 4-0 to start their Champions Trophy campaign with a dream start.

India will now face Australia in their third match on June 27. There are two more games after that in league stage, against Belgium (June 28) and hosts Netherlands (June 30).

The final of the tournament is scheduled to be played on July 1.
