Germany's last minute dramatic finish against Sweden leaves Sourav Ganguly awed

Ganguly tweeted about the game after watching the thriller finish.

FIFA World Cup 2018 has given some thrilling games till now and the fans are in hope of more in upcoming days.

Former India cricketer and current Cricket Association of Bengal president Sourav Ganguly was left amazed after watching Germany pulling off a dramatic win against Sweden on Saturday.

The defending champions were on the verge of having a shaky World Cup after being down to 10 men. Jerome Boateng was given a second yellow card.

With the score tied in the fifth minute of stoppage time, Toni Kroos smashed the ball away from the outreached hand of diving goalkeeper Robin Olsen.

Ganguly was following the game and like many others, he was also in awe of Germany's brilliance in last minutes. The Sweden fans and players were in disbelief after the goal.

"That’s what is called deliver under pressure ..hall mark of German football," tweeted Ganguly.

Mexico leads Group F with six points, and Germany and Sweden both have three. Mexico faces Sweden and Germany takes on winless South Korea in the final group matches.
