It turned out to be a humiliating weekend for Pakistan as they suffered two embarrassing defeats against India. The sports was different but the result remained the same. It was not just merely a defeat, as Gautam Gambhir wrote in his tweet, India made a statement through the dominating win.
After beating Pakistan in Kabaddi, Indian hockey team continued the party for Indian sports fans as they crushed the neighbors 4-0 to get off to a great start in the 2018 Champions Trophy on Saturday.
Goals from Ramandeep Singh (26th minute), Dilpreet Singh (54th), Mandeep Singh (57th) and Lalit Upadhyay (60th) made sure India keep their dominance throughout the game against the arch-rivals.
Cricket fraternity took Twitter to express their happiness and congratulate the men in blue after securing the win. Hockey doesn't get much limelight but when it comes to India vs Pakistan, fans turn up in numbers to support their team.
