Sachin Tendulkar has come in support of bowlers after seeing the massacre inflicted by the England batsmen on Australian bowlers in process of scoring the highest ODI score of 481.
Sachin pointed out the rule of using two new balls from both ends in limited overs cricket which is affecting the bowlers in the second half of the innings. The ball doesn't get old and it doesn't aid the reverse swing that would have assisted the bowlers.
"Having 2 new balls in one day cricket is a perfect recipe for disaster as each ball is not given the time to get old enough to reverse. We haven’t seen the reverse swing, an integral part of the death overs, for a long time. #ENGvsAUS," Sachin tweeted.

Pakistani fast bowling legend Waqar Younis seconded former India cricketer's thought and thinks that is the reason we don't get to see quality pacers these days. "Reason why we don’t produce many attacking fast bowlers..They all very defensive in their approach...always looking for change ups..totally agree with you @sachin_rt reverse swing is almost vanished.. #SAD," wrote former Pakistan pacer.

The ICC had introduced two new balls from two ends after amending it's playing rules back in October 2011. The rule was opposed by BCCI as it affected the role of spinners.
