Batsmen are plummeting the bowlers in the limited overs cricket, as evident from England men scoring 481 against Australia in an ODI and England women scoring 250 in a T20I recently.

This month only New Zealand women's team thrashed the highest ODI score 490/4 against Ireland Women's team in Dublin.

Sachin Tendulkar has now come in support of the bowlers. He urged the lawmakers of the game to bring up some rules that favor the bowlers and shift the balance in the middle. He called for the scrapping of two new balls in an ODI game rule, as the new balls don't get old enough to reverse.

Sachin tried to shares his view on the 'high scoring games' going in batter's favor. "Having 2 new balls in one day cricket is a perfect recipe for disaster as each ball is not given the time to get old enough to reverse. We haven’t seen reverse swing, an integral part of the death overs, for a long time. #ENGvsAUS," Sachin wrote after England men's team chased down a target of 312 inside 45 overs.
