Watch: Harbhajan Singh sings Kishore Kumar’s evergreen melody on World Music Day

Harbhajan had also released an album earlier this year to express his respect for the legendary Bhagat Singh.

Music is an integral part of our life as it touches the soul and provides the much-needed peace of mind. As the folks all around the globe celebrate the ‘World Music Day’ on June 21, veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh gave a glimpse of his singing talent.

Harbhajan went to a recording studio and sang a Kishore Kumar classic – 'Intaha Ho Gai Intezar Ki'. He also termed this evergreen track among his all-time favourites.

Taking to Twitter, Harbhajan posted the video and wrote: “Music is the strongest bond that can get people together. Kishore Kumar's 'Intaha Ho Gai Intezar Ki' has always been one of my favourites! Tell me your favourite song! Spread the music, spread the love :) #WorldMusicDay.”

It is worth mentioning here that Harbhajan had released an album earlier this year to express his respect for the legendary Bhagat Singh, who was executed at the age of 23 by the British ruled Indian government back in 1931.

Harbhajan had sung a Punjabi song titled “Ek Suneha 2”. Through the album, he tried to share the values of Bhagat Singh’s lifestyle. The offie had also passed a message to today’s youngsters as most of them are forgetting their culture and social responsibility.

Harbhajan played for Chennai Super Kings in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL). He featured in 13 out of the 16 games and scalped 7 wickets in total for the IPL 2018 champions.
