Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi tweeted a picture of his daughter with a pet lion in the background. Do you think it's cool? But Twitteratis think it is a violation of animal rights.
His daughter can be seen posing like Afridi's iconic pose after taking a wicket. The 38-year-old captioned the picture: "Great to spend time with loved ones. Best feeling in the world to have my daughter copy my wicket-taking celebrations. And yes don't forget to take care of animals, they too deserve our love and care."

Seeing the post on his official account handle, Twitter users criticized Afridi. Fans wanted the veteran cricketer to not pet the animals like a lion which need a different environment than what it gets in a house.

Lion is a wild habitant and it can never be friendly to humans
He will go by his basic instinct
And can give lethal and life threating injuries ... To its masters even

Yes it will always be a predator but it has a right to roam freely or at least in a wildlife sanctuary. Often animals in captivity can not be rehabilitated to the wild
