Mohammad Shami nonchalantly denies allegations made by his wife Hasin Jahan

Shami and his wife Hasina Jahan had problems in their married life recently.

Mohammad Shami with his family | GETTYIndian pacer Mohammed Shami's wife Hasina Jahan sparked the controversy again when she alleged that the cricketer is soon going to get married. Shami was quick to respond and snub the allegations.

His wife said, “Shami wants to marry the sister-in-law of his elder brother five days after Eid and that’s why he has offered me money and asked for the divorce.”

Shami, taking it easy, responded in a funny way. He was cool and unbothered with the negativity. "I am in much trouble due to my first marriage. Do you think I am mad that I will marry another girl?”. He further added that, "Hasin has brought a lot of allegations about me in last few months and this is an addition to that. That’s good, then I will invite her to be present at my second marriage (laughing),” said the pacer to XtraTime.

Married to Shami since 2014, Jahan first made the claims through Facebook that the bowler is having several extra-marital affairs.

But the cricketer refuted the allegations calling it a plan to defame him. He had tweeted, "Hi. I'm Mohammad Shami. Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe Badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai."

Shami had a poor IPL 2018 season. He said the family issues made it tough for him to perform on the field. “I couldn’t perform well in last few months due to my family problems, but I am confident that things will change in England,” he said.
