Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin is excited to watch the megastar of South Indian film industry, Rajinikanth's latest movie Kaala which released on Thursday.
Kaala is an action film directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Dhanush under his banner Wunderbar Films. The film was earlier scheduled to be released on 27 April 2018, but was postponed to June.
Ashwin showed his excitement about the film. Putting on his creative hat, he used a subtle pun in the tweet. He wrote, “Soooo Kaala clouds looming large in Chennai today!! Won’t need the clouds tomorrow .#KaalaFromTom."
The film is believed to revolve around the lives of oppressed Tamils in Mumbai and their fight for equality. The film also stars Nana Patekar, Pankaj Tripathi, Anjali Patil, Huma Qureshi and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles.
Ashwin is gearing up for the one-off Test against Afghanistan this month. The Test will start from 14th June in Bengaluru. The players will also have to undergo Yo-Yo test to prove their fitness. “The players will have to undergo a mandatory yo-yo test. Though the team has been already been picked for the lone Test against Afghanistan, it’s a procedure which each player has to follow. The players, who will be traveling to England too will have to undergo a yo-yo test in the coming weeks,” sources in the BCCI informed.
