Indian skipper MS Dhoni had visited Durga temple at Deori in Ranchi after returning from IPL 2018 which his team Chennai Super Kings won. The people at the temple were surprised to see Dhoni and his family arrive.

The cricketer has been a regular at this temple since his school days. No wonder the temple is famous because of him and the footfall has also increased.

Dhoni had an impactful IPL season with the bat and cherry on the cake, CSK gifted him a win too. The priest of the temple disclosed that the CSK skipper had made a wish for the successful season. Hence, he came back to thank goddess Durga.

He revealed Dhoni prayed for upcoming series as well. Former Indian skipper's next assignment will be the T20I series against Ireland in June, and he will be part of the T20I and ODI squad against England in July.

“The wish he made for IPL victory was fulfilled and he prayed for the upcoming series,” said priest Manoj Panda, as per Sportstar. “Like always, Dhoni came to the temple after winning the match and prayed here. On his visit here, there was a lot of rush,” the priest added.
